  • "Connie is always very helpful to all her students no matter what level the student is. She is always encouraging and motivating even when something is hard for a particular person. She maintains a positive environment and tries to make sure all needs are met whether it's music, food, beverages, having space, or being able to see. She is also welcoming, kind, and polite to everyone. I have taken her class myself many times and had her work with a group of students at my school. Both experiences were fabulous!"

  • "A very fun gathering of a group of women for learning to paint one canvas every week. The teacher is always well prepared. The canvas has always been prepared for the session by the teacher (with initial drawing on each person's canvas of the object they will paint so that the focus will be on painting skill development, not drawing. The gathering is a fun way to learn to paint and great for developing friendships. I like that she uses the medium of acrylic and she shows you ways to correct mistakes as you learn. This teacher is very knowledgeable about art. She encourages individualism and self-expression."
